James Nguyen performs fundamental analysis on our investment universe, and monitoring for each of our portfolio holdings. He is responsible for keeping track of secular growing trends and disruptions across industries, which contribute to our idea generation, portfolio construction, and position-sizing processes.

James is the Chair of our Broker and Best Execution Committee, which includes managing all executing broker and research relationships, and is a member of our Valuation Committee. During his time at Bowie, he has contributed as the co-creator of our proprietary equity ranking tracker, company one-pager analyses, and fixed income opportunity and yield analysis tracker.

Prior to Bowie, James held a finance internship at Viet Duong Alsaleh Investment and Trades JSC in Hanoi, Vietnam.

He graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a B.S. in Finance and Information Technology and Systems and was awarded the Outstanding Finance Student Award. James is a CFA ® Charterholder.
